The Old Town of Rhodes
A true gem reflecting the wealth of Rhodes’ history, the old town has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, in 1988.
Palace of Grand Master of The Knights of Rhodes
A beautiful palace located in the old town of Rhodes, built in the 14th century by the Knights of Rhodes, who occupied the island from 1309 to 1522.
Filerimos
The Hill of Filerimos is one of the must-see places of Rhodes, not only for its great natural assets and panoramic vistas from the hilltop, but also for its various historical treasures and the complex of religious buildings: The 5th century Byzantine monastery occupied by monks for at least 16 centuries, the church of the Virgin Mary, which consists of four chapels, all beautifully and suitably adorned and decorated with centuries-old wall frescoes and last but not least the Path of Golgotha, leading to an 18 metres tall cross at the top of the hill.
Kallithea Springs
Famous for their healing qualities since the time of the Dorians, the springs were highly popular between the First and Second World War. A beautiful monument recently restored (2007) and opened to the public, exhibits a variety of architectural styles with ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Arab features, wonderful pebble mosaics reflecting the rich history of the island, and lush gardens by a beautiful beach.

Ialyssos
According to mythology Ialyssos was the daughter of Danaus and sister to the females Kameiros and Lindos, who were all worshipped in the cities that took their names in the island of Rhodes. Ialyssos is one of the three ancient cities of the island with remains of occupation dating back to the 3rd millennium BC and also settlements and cemeteries dating from the Mycenaean-Minoan period.
Lindos
Along the eastern coast of the island, Lindos is the only one of the three ancient cities that has been inhabited from its inception until today. Its impressive Acropolis with the multitude of ancient monuments, the Byzantine Church and medieval dwellings, combined with the natural beauty of the area, make Lindos a must- see for the visitor.
